The 22-year-old beauty will play alongside Tom Cruise in the big-screen adaptation of the hit Broadway musical Rock of Ages.
"Thanks for all your good vibes and good luck wishes," she wrote. "It worked! I got Rock of Ages!"
Director Adam Shankman said Julianne's audition was "nothing short of a miracle," calling it "a star-is-born moment."

"Have I got any jewelry on my hands? I don't think so. No, not on my fingers, no," said Julianne for US TV show Extra.
