Lewis Hamilton Wins British GP

The British Formula One racing driver from England, Lewis Hamilton currently racing for the Mercedes AMG team won his second British Grand Prix.

Nico Rosberg, Hamilton’s Mercedes team-mate and sole rival, gratefully grabbed the opportunity with both hands to clock the fastest time at the death. For the German driver Nico Erik Rosberg was the first retirement of the year.

Lewis Hamilton wins home GP for first time since 2008 and closing Rosberg 4 points in the overall standings. The German dropped out on lap 31, while Gutierrez, Raikonen, Ericsson and Massa came out of the race. Valtteri Bottas from Finland finishes second while Daniel Ricciardo was the third.
