Megan Joy’s unique voice and quirky dance routines didn’t impress the American Idol fans since she was eliminated in the show. She sang ‘Turn Your Lights Down Low,’ from Bob Marley’s ‘Chant Down Babylon’ album last night in the show’s popular downloads-themed week.
Joy is a 22-year-old single mom from Sandy, Utah. After the Wildcard episode, she decided to be known as ‘Megan Joy’, dropping her last name ‘Corkey’ as it was her ex-husband’s.
Joining her in the bottom 3 are Anoop Desai, 21, and Allison Iraheta, 16. The guest performances of the results night were David Cook and Lady Gaga. The former sang his new single off his eponymous album, ‘Come Back to Me,’ and the latter performed her number 1 hit, ‘Poker Face.’
