X-Men Origins: Wolverine Film Leaked Online

Thursday, April 2 2009

by Joe Halls

The raw and unfinished copy of the upcoming film ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’, starring Hugh Jackman as the lead star, leaked online since Tuesday. The copy comes in DVD quality rip that includes minimal special effects, sounds, and unedited storyline. It even prompts some of the viewers to give both positive and negative reviews about the highly anticipated action film.

Eric Garland, the CEO of the file-sharing monitoring firm BigChampagne said, “We’ve never seen a high-profile film—a film of this budget, a tent pole movie with this box office potential—leak in any form this early.”

The movie is originally planned to hit cinemas on May 1, 2009. 20th Century Fox, the film distributor, expressed their rage on the leakage. They are continuously demanding the file-sharing websites with the copy of the film to remove it swiftly and stop the widespread downloading of the ripped ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’.
