As we all have already heard, the handsome Latin lover came out with hot news. The pop star revealed finally his real sexual identity: gay man. However, we have to look for much more of this guy than just his sexuality and his hits "Livin' la Vida Loca" and "She Bangs."
Here there are the five things you should to know about the Puerto Rican 38-year-old Puerto Rican, father of twin boys.
His first quality is that of a Music Man. I don't know if you have already known about Martin's debut on the music market. He became famous as a member of the Latin American boy band called Menudo. After some time, Ricky moved on to launch a solo career. He first launched a few Spanish language albums. In 1999, Martin came out with an English album, self-titled. It is said that the artist have sold more than 60 million albums worldwide so far.
Another quality of the artist is due to his Acting Career. He showed up in the telenovela Alcanzar Una Estrella II. This happened in the early '90s. After a while, Martin took parts in General Hospital, and Les Miserables, on Broadway.
The most important quality to his female fans should be, of course, him being a Latin Lover. As we all know, Martin had a long lasting relationship with Mexican TV host Rebecca de Alba. Meantime, the gay rumors seemed to be spreading away during the success of "Livin' la Vida Loca." Martin also helped it a little bit as he always denied all the asking regarding his affection for the same-sex loving kind.
The fourth quality of Martin, if I may say so, could be Rock the Vote. We all saw Ricky Martin's concert in 2001 at the Inaugural Ball for President George W. Bush.
