One of the most tearful moments during the public memorial for Michael Jackson was when the daughter of the pop star Paris Katherine Jackson gave an impromptu speech describing how her dad was.
The producer of the tribute Ken Ehrlich said that the speech of Paris "was not planned." He added, "A lot of the show was not scripted. Music was laid out, but most of the speakers really spoke from their heart, people who knew Michael well, and I think that's what gave the show its heart."
Ehrlich also shared that the request of the Jackson family was not "to do a TV show, we want to do a memorial service. We hope you got the feeling you were watching a memorial service."
