In a special issue of People, Wizards of Waverly Place star Selena Gomez bluntly revealed that she has never been in love although she has been linked to Nick Jonas and Taylor Lautner before.
She said, "I think everybody has their own interpretations of love. I've cared a lot for people. I don't believe I've been strictly in love."
"I'm very protective of our friendship," disclosed Gomez in reference to her close pal Demi Lovato. And when both of them will be interested in one guy, "I think I'd be like, 'You can have him, because I don't want to ruin our friendship.' Then she'd be like, 'No, you can have him,' and then we'd end up not liking him."
The 16-year-old also offered one sound advice, "I've cut out the people who I don't need in my life. I realized I should surround myself with people who make me smile."
