According to some new reports the talented actor Robin Williams played in the movies One Hour Photo and Insomnia because he was desperate to play a "nasty f*cker".
Robin Willians who had spent years starring in family-friendly films such as Jumanji and Mrs. Doubtfire was thrilled when he got the chance to be mean onscreen.
"It's very hard to convince people to offer you something else. I wasn't getting offered serious roles! When I got offered them I said right away, 'I'll do Insomnia, I'll do One Hour Photo.' It was so freeing!
As Anthony Hopkins said once, playing evil is seductive because you can explore behavior that in real life you'd do prison time for. Most nasty f*ckers are very charming." he said.
He said that would like to play The Riddler in the next Batman movie.
"I would do Batman in a second. I'd play The Riddler in the next one, although it would be hard to top Heath Ledger as the villain and I'm a little hairy for tights." he said.by fw editor |
