The Twilight actor Robert Pattinson, who is currently filming Remember Me, was hit by a taxi in downtown Manhattan when he was running across the street near Strand bookstore to escape a group of fans.
Pattinson was not injured though; he even walked away after the incident. A source revealed, "It's been nonstop busy all day with people trying to get a glimpse of him, and the crowd goes nuts when they do see him."
Another source divulged that the 23-year-old remains positive to his fans, amidst reports that he didn't appreciate what they are doing, saying, "I think he appreciates it. He's not one to make a big deal about it. He's a chill guy and quiet so far. I think he finds it a little weird that people are standing outside all day to get a glimpse of him, but grateful."
