A series of massive earthquakes strucked Japan earlier this morning , leaving behind them masive destructions. First shock of 8.9 magnitude was the biggest to hit Japan in the last 140 years.
A wall of water crossed Japan's east coast engulfing everything in its path. Five people were declared dead
Tsunami warnings were issued across wider Pacific including Russia, the territories of Guam, Taiwan, the Philippines, the Marshall Islands, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Nauru, Micronesia and Hawaii.
Already in Russia have been evacuated 11,000 people from possible afected areas including Kuril islands and Sakhalin island.
The quake struck about 382 kilometres north-east of tokyo at a depth of 24 kilometers.by fw editor |
