Little Mermaid, now in flesh!
Little Mermaid, now in flesh!

Disney Animation turned mermaid Ariel into one of the most beloved characters that ever appeared, but doesn't mean that directors (and why not, the audience) don't dream about a movie with real actors.

Joe Wright, known for films such as Pride and Prejudice and Atonement, is planning to start the production of a film with the beautiful ocean creature that prefers to abandon her life in the underworld to be with her beloved.

At this time we don't know if the very well known story of Hans Christian Andersen will undergo changes or events will take place exactly like in the Disney animation, Little Mermaid.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Wright's version, written by Abi Morgan (Brick Lane), is based on a puppet play.

At this moment, the director ends the movie Hanna, in which we can see Saoirse Ronan, Oscar-nominated actress for her role in Atonement, for the role of a teenage killer.

After Hanna, Wright will have to choose between Indian Summer, or screening after Andersen.

What would you like him to choose?
