While on American Idols Live tour, season eight champ Kris Allen continues to record his debut album with the help of renowned songwriters such as David Hodges, Salaam Remi, Joe King of The Fray, and many others.
He recently announced on Twitter when his album hits the music stores, "Hey guys! The album is set to release November 17," he wrote. In a statement issued to Billboard.com, 19 Entertainment confirmed the news through their rep.
Meanwhile, Allen's fellow contestants on Idol Adam Lambert, who has signed with 19/RCA, and Allison Iraheta, who has a record deal with 19 Entertainment and Jive Records, have not announced yet the release dates of their respective albums.
