After several speculations telling that Katie Holmes will perform on So You Think You Can Dance after the wife of Tom Cruise was spotted at L.A. studios wearing dancing attire, the news has been confirmed by the show's producer Nigel Lythgoe recently.
Lythgoe, who also acts as one of the judges of the dancing show, said, ''It's about a charity (but) I do not have the status. It's just not legal to talk about it at the moment.'' He explained that they are still waiting for the approval and nod of certain official channels like IRS before making an announcement.
The producer revealed, ''Katie is a small part of what is going on. It's more than Katie.'' Then he promised, ''I know just from doing 'Idol Gives Back,' that the minute you mention anything, people want to be there to help. And people start doing things and you go, 'No, no, no, we're not equipped to do that, please, please.' I promise you… the minute I can, I'll be the first one to tell the world about it!''
