The Oscar winner appears in The Rum Diary, based on Thompson's novel by the same name. The novel's main story is centered around Paul Kemp (a journalist, also known as Thompson).
In a recent interview with Movie Fanatic, Johnny Depp took the website's reporters on a journey to the alcohol-soaked paradise in Puerto Rico.
