Jenny McCarthy doesn't talk about her relationship with Jim Carrey in new book Love, Lust and Faking It: The Naked Truth About Sex, Lies and True Romance.
"I just have to respect his privacy. There were broken hearts on both sides. What I got out of that relationship was a lot about self-love. It's about being happy." she told People magazine.
Jenny's now dating former fitness model Jason Toohey, 35. She's also planning to host a new syndicated talk show for Oprah Winfrey's Harpo Studios next year – and a play.
"I'm really working right now in this moment to fill myself up as much as possible with love in my life," she says. "Me being the No. 1 lead actor in it."
Jenny recently admitted her relationship with Jim stopped being fun.
"The simple word I can give - and there's a few, so let me say a few. The first thing is, when it's not fun anymore, you need to start investigating and do an inquiry into the relationship," she said.
