The australian Formula One champion Jack Brabham who won three titles in 1959, 1960 and 1966 died at his home on the Gold Coast at the age 88 after a long battle with liver disease. He founded Brabham racing team and became the only person in history to win the Formula One world championship driving one of his own cars.
