Eight short films have passed the pre-selection in order to battle for an Oscar Award in the documentary category at the 83rd edition of the Academy Awards.
The eight documentaries were chosen from a list of 30 and they were chosen by the Academy members, who were dealing with documentary films.
THR informs us that from three to five movies will be nominated for the Oscars that will be on 25 January.
The list is provisional and the films are:
