According to Variety, Denzel Washington may play a negative role in the thriller Safe House, which is fascinating because no matter how good is the heroic role, Washington is brilliant in the role of villain (see Training Day).
It seems that Universal hired the filmmaker Daniel Espinoza to rewrite the script who was originally developed by David Guggenheim.
Safe House will tell the story of a CIA agent whose mission is to protect a witness from repeated attacks of those who want to eliminate the only person who can destroy an entire with a simple witness in the courtroom.
The movie title refers to safe houses carefully chosen by the CIA to hide those hunted by various criminal organizations.
If we are to believe the people from Variety, Washington wants to play the role of a villain who is haunting that house.
Safe House will go into production later this summer.by FW Editor |
