Debbie Reynolds vs. Elizabeth Taylor

Tuesday, April 27 2010

Debbie Reynolds and Elizabeth Taylor share more than a friendship. It looks like they share the same man, after all, no one but Eddie Fisher.

According to Daily Mail, Debbie Reynolds remembers when she called her good friend Taylor while she was on tour. But, who do you think picked up the phone?

"I could hear her voice asking him who was calling - they were obviously in bed together. I yelled at him, 'Roll over, darling, and let me speak to Elizabeth,'" Debbie said. "Suddenly, a lot of things clicked into place."

About two years ago, the couple Reynolds-Fisher wedding was a total extravaganza. The lady was a famous actress and singer, while the gentleman was a handsome sentimental singer with huge audience in TV shows and also on the stage. By his mashing records, Fisher proved to be a real competitor for Frank Sinatra.

Years later, the crooner demanded: "Elizabeth and I are in love and I want a divorce."

On the other hand, Debbie replied: "If you marry her, she will throw you out within 18 months."

After all, she was right: "Elizabeth did get rid of him, just as I had warned, when she met Richard Burton on the set of 'Cleopatra.'"
