At 41, Celine Dion is expecting her second child with husband Rene Angelil, the diva's longtime manager. When Dr. Zev Rosenwaks, who performed Dion's in vitro fertilization to get her pregnant with her first child, told her the astounding news, "You could hear her chuckling. She was very happy. So was Rene. They are both very thankful," Rosenwaks said.
For the past eight years, the doctor kept her embryo frozen in liquid nitrogen, "She is very, very early in her pregnancy," Rosenwaks remarked. In 2007, after her Las Vegas concerts, "She came back to have the embryos transferred back because she wanted to have another baby."
The fertility expert stated that the Canadian singer is very healthy, "She is feeling well. So far, so good. I look forward to hearing the fetal heartbeat. Rene and Celine are both looking forward to a pregnancy that is a healthy one. There is no question she is ecstatic."
