Virgin Media informs us that the model, singer and composer Carla Bruni, who is the wife of French President Nicolas Sarkozy since 2008, started her acting Tuesday, 7/27/2010, when she filmed no less than 32 doubles in only five hours for the latest Woody Allen comedy - "Midnight in Paris".
In November 2009, First Lady of France has officially announced that she accepted a cameo in the film "Midnight in Paris", adding that she won't miss the unique life opportunity to collaborate with director Woody Allen.
Carla Bruni plays a Parisian museum director and she appears on a busy street in Paris, near the Pantheon, in the company of actor Owen Wilson. A source from the sets said that Woody Allen and Carla Bruni are having a great professional relationship, constantly taking to each other and laughing a lot between double.
Before going on vacation with her husband Nicolas Sarkozy, Carla Bruni (42 years) should also devote half a day for filming a few scenes in which she'll have as partner the Academy Award winner Marion Cotillard, who portrays her subordinates at the museum in this comedy.
