Famouswhy recently informed you that Angelina Jolie is about to take home a four-year-old girl from Haiti.
"Angelina's lawyers are in the process of getting an authorization so Leah can spend some time with her in America," a source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper.
"That's standard procedure, basically they need to make sure Leah will adapt well."
"A lot of observers from groups such as the Red Cross are ensuring that Angelina is treated like anybody else and not fast tracked, which would be viewed insidiously." added the insider.
But a few days ago, Angelina's rep person said:
"Earlier this week, the Daily Mirror U.K. and others reported that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are in the process of adopting a child from Haiti. There is no truth to these rumors."
"Rather, Ms. Jolie is focused on enhancing the welfare and legal protection of children within Haiti. As such, she has been meeting with government of Haiti officials, Haitian legal experts and non-governmental organizations regarding a new initiative of the Jolie-Pitt Foundation.
The recently launched Jolie Legal Fellows Program will assist the justice system in Haiti to improve child protection." he added.by fw editor |
