Angelina Jolie criticizes President Obama

Friday, December 11 2009

The actress Angelina Jolie calls out the Obama administration to approach the situation in Sudan.
She said to Newsweek "How is the Barack Obama administration's approach to Sudan an evolution of justice? In addition, when the administration says it intends to work to 'improve the lives of the people of Darfur,' I would like to know what that means, besides the obvious point that their lives could hardly get worse".
Her Jolie-Pitt Foundation is fighting for Human Rights which in the last years she said "300,000 dead and 2.7 million people internally displaced, so we're fighting for this".
The Administration hasn't yet announced any move for Angelina's decision "There will be pressure on the United States and its partners to bring stability to Sudan, even at the expense of criminal accountability. Regardless of the rationale, the end would be the same: victims left without justice while perpetrators walk away".
Anyway she said that she supports president's methods and she trusts him "I also hope we will act sooner and more powerfully to prevent future atrocities". We hope ,too cause we know you're a good person, Angelina.
