The place in north Los Angeles which sheltered the BB King Blues Club will be the host to the Jon Lovitz Comedy Club from May 28.
The popular comedian will shortly open his own comedy club with partner Frank Kelley. This will be the first entrepreneurship for the comedian who became famous during the late 80's for his work on the "Saturday Night Live" and in a number of films thereafter.
Lovitz had partnered with Irvine Improv GM to open the Jon Lovitz Comedy Club at a restaurant in San Diego. But this time they are aiming bigger.
According to Lovitz, his new club will stand out against other LA comedy clubs. He says that his club will have an open and bright feeling and the door will be themed like a beach with palm trees. The club also provide quality food to its members. Every night, the club will host two comedy shows.
