Blake Lewis, the runner-up of American Idol season 6 winner Jordin Sparks, is gearing to release his second album under Tommy Boy Entertainment on October 6.
According to Lewis, the dance-pop album is "the culmination of over 10 years in the dance scene" which will be "filled with electro pop goodness with melodies I cherish."
He continued, "The music in the dance scene gets me out onto the dance floor to lose my inhibition. The title is an ode to all the record stores that have been closing down due to my industry eating itself. These are the stores that brought inspiration to all of us music lovers and have led me to make the music I create today."
Currently, the singer is finishing recording all the tracks in the album with the help and creativity of producers Rodney Jerkins and Dave Aude.
