After Nicole Kidman could not get proper schedule to shoot for a new film directed by
href="http://people.famouswhy.com/woody_allen/" target="_blank">Woody Allen, the
director selected
target="_blank">Lucy Punch, a rather new face, to play the same character.
Lucy Punch passed the screen test successfully and Allen was happy to find a good
replacement for Kidman. Previously, Woody Allen had chosen Nicole Kidman to play a
prominent role in his upcoming movie but the actress could not adjust the shooting timings
with her own schedules. As a result, she left the role after a few weeks.
The movie is yet to be given a title and will begin shooting during this summer in
London.
Punch has previously appeared in shows like "The Class", "Ella Enchanted" and "Hot
Fuzz".
