Pop star Britney Spears did an entire performance in New York by playing audio tracks in the background and merely matching her lips to the songs while she danced away.
Britney's comeback performance was held at the Naussau Coliseum . Around 16,000 people had turned up to watch the resurrection of the pop diva. But Britney didn't stop. She swung, whirled and danced to the choreographed steps without using her vocals to sing. However, Britney sung a ballad to the crowd, though it clearly exposed lack of polish in her voice.
All the while the audience cheered and sang along with the hits and Britney danced in front of them. Songs from Britney's previous 3 albums were included in the soundtrack. Apart from the singing, she performed some quite tough dance moves with a variety of dresses. In the end, she managed to do what she wanted, i.e., the audience was happy.
