Ashlee's come back as an actress was a totally failure. CW dropped Ashlee Simpson's character because Sydney's muder mystery is coming to an end and Simpson's character not make any sense in the future.
The network took this decision because the murder mystery would be ending in the episode 12 of the season and once the myster is solved she is going on her own way. Todd Slavkin said "We always knew that Ashlee's character of Violet would be instrumental in that as a suspect. That was the original plan going into the development of the show."
The producers are looking for a new perspective, because Melrose Place is more fun, romantic and sexy. The murder mystery would be solved in the episode 12 and Violet Foster (Ashlee's character) will move on.
Ashlee said that for her was fun and a big oportunity to be one of the new generation of Melrose Place and it was cool to be out, but soon the fans & family said that Ashlee wasn't really well after the CW's decision. Her sister, Jessica Simpson, said on her twitter that "The only thing I was watching that scrap was of my sister" and her husband ,Pete Wentz, said to a magazine "We wanted to have another baby, but Ashlee was so busy with project and so happy to be in it".
After that some of the producers said that real reason they fired Ashlee was because her poor acting and her "diva" behavior.
The Melrose Place fans were happy because Ashlee is out saying that she doesn't fit with the rest of the cast, but I think Ashlee's character was an important part of the show.by FW Editor |
