William Edntonstoune Aytoun (1813-1865) was a Scottish poet, born in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Short Biography:
Chiefly remembered for his "Lays of the Scottish Cavaliers" in 1848, and for the "Bon Gaulaer Ballads" in 1855, which he wrote in collaboration with Sir Theodore Martin.
