Short Biography:

His distinctive speech and professed attitudes such as hatred of children and dogs gained him enormous popularity in films such as David Copperfield in 1935, My Little Chickadee (co-written with Mae West) and The Bank Dick both in 1940, and Never Give a Sucker an Even Break in 1941.
