Vera-Ellen was born on February 16, 1921 in Norwood, Ohio and died on August 30, 1981 in Los Angeles, California.

Biography and Career :

He sturied at Martin Rohe and Alma Catherine Westmeier. He bagan dancing at age of 9 and when she was 16 she won the competition Major Bowes Amateur Hous. After that she began a professional dancer with a big upcoming career.

He made her Broadway debut at 18 in 1939 in the musical Very Warm for May directed by Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein.
