Traian Basescu was born on November 4, 1951 in Murfatlar - near Constanta, today called Basarabi. He is the president of Romania.

Biography and Career :

In 1976 he graduated the Faculty of Navigation - the "Mircea cel Batran" Navy Institute (the trade section).
