Steven Gerrard was born on May 30, 1980, in Whiston, Merseyside, England. He supported Liverpool FC from his childhood. A scout of Liverpool FC discovered Steven Gerrard when he was only 8 years of age. Since then, he has trained with the club and played in junior levels until he signed with the club at pro level when he was 17 years old.
