Rouben Mamoulian (1898-1987) was a Armenian film director who lived in the USA from 1923.

Short Biography:

After several years on Broadway he turned to films, making the first sound version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1932) and Queen Christina (1933). His later work includes The Mark of Zorro (1940) and Silk Stockings (1957).
