Randi Ingerman was born on November 13, 1967, in Philadelphia, Pennysylvania. She learnt ballet dancing. She decided to pursue a career in acting when she couldn't get into modeling.

She made her debut in the Italian movie "Sotto il vestito ninte 2" in 1988. This led her to a role in "Miami Vice" and "The Two Jakes" (1990). During this time she acted in series like "Silk Stalkings", "Trade Winds" and also acted in the movie "Deadly Rivals".
