Nigel Mansell (born in 1954) is a English motor-racing driver, runner-up in the world championship on two occasions, he became world champion in 1992 and in the same year announced his retirement from Formula One racing.

Short Biography:

He won 30 Grand Prix races - more than any other British driver.

He joined the Newman-Haas team in 1993 and became the first to win the IndyCar championship in his debut season.
