Nichita Stanescu (full name Nichita Hristea Stanescu) was born on March 31, 1933 in Ploiesti, Romania. He is one of the most important poets in Romanian's literature.

Biography and Career :

Nichita Stanescu was born in Ploiesti, 31st of March, 1933, "from a Romanian peasant come to town and a Russian girl" as the author says.
