Michael Thomas (full name Michael Stuart Thomas) was born on May 24, 1944 and he is a famous British Politician.

On October 1974 in a general election, Michael Thomas was elected as Labour Member of Parliament for Newcastle-upon-Tyne East. In 1981 he was one of the people to defect the Labour MP to the new Social Democratic Party.
