Mary Wollstonecraft (1759-1797) was a British feminist, member of a group of radical intellectuals called the English Jacobins.
Short Biography:
Her book Vindication of the Rights of Women in 1792 demanded equal educational opportunities for women. She married William Godwin and died in giving birth to a daughter, Mary.
