Biography and Career

Marcel Cerdan was born in Sidi Bel Abbes, now known as Algeria. In 1934, he began boxing professionally in Meknes, Morocco. After beating Marcel Bucchianeri by a decision in six rounds, Cerdan then continuously receive success for like 47 times till he lost for the first time, to Harry Craster by a disqualification in five rounds in London, in 1939.
