Kevin Pietersen (full name Kevin Peter Pietersen) was born on June 27, 1980, in Natal, South Africa. He was deeply associated with cricket from his childhood and his brothers also play cricket at club levels.

He was a member of the cricket team of Natal Schools. In 1998, his family moved to England. He played in the English County for four years in the team of Nottinghamshire. After that, he got his chance to represent England internationally.
