Karel Reisz (1926-2002) was a Czechoslovak film director who lived in Britain from 1938, originally a writer and film critic.
Short Biography:
His first feature film, Saturday Night and Sunday Morning in 1960, was a critical and commercial success. His other work includes Morgan in 1966, The French Lieutenant's Woman in 1981, and Sweet Dreams in 1986.
