Biography and Career:

Javier Bardem (full name Javier Angel Encinas Bardem) was born on March 1, 1969, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. His family was involved in the Spanish film industry for a long time and, thus, Javier Bardem got his first chance of acting in the movie "El Pi­caro" (1974).

Six years later, he was cast in the movie "El Poderoso influjo de la luna" (1980). He was involved with a theatre group.
