George Sand (real name Amantine-Lucile-Aurore Dupin and later Baroness Dudevant) was born on July 1, 1804 in Paris, France. She is a famous French novelist.

Biography and Career :

Her father was the nephew of de Saxa marshal and his name was Maurice Dupin du Francueil and her mother was a poor woman whose name was Sophie-Victoire Delaborde. On the 16th of September 1808 her father passed away.
