Sergeant Ross Franklin Gray, popularly known as F. Gray was a US Marine who got posthumous recognition of Medal of Honor, the highest military honor of the United States. He was honored for his heroic self sacrifice in the Iwo Jima battle during the Second World War.

Biography and Career:

He was born on August 1st, 1920 in Marvel Valley, Alabama. He went to the Centerville High School. He left school in 1939 after studying there for three years.
