Eva Gaëlle Green was born in Paris on 5 July 1980, to parents Marlène Jobert, a French actress, and Swedish dentist Walter Green. She grew up in the 16th arrondissement of Paris and her mother is of Algerian French settlers (Pied-Noir) descent. Eva Green was born two minutes before her twin sister Joy.
