Erin Burnett (full name Erin Isabelle Burnett) was born on May 3, 1976, in Mardela Springs, Maryland. She is a BA in political economy from Williams College.
After her college, Erin got a job at Goldman Sachs as investment banking analyst. Then, she worked for the show Moneyline on CNN as writer in 1999. From there, she joined Citigroup.
