David II (1324-1371) was the King of Scotland from 1329, son of Robert I (the Bruce).
Short Biography:
David was married at the age of four to Joanna, daughter of Edward II of England.
After the defeat of the Scots by Edward III at Halidon Hill, David and Joanna were sent to France for safety. They returned 1341.
In 1346 David invaded England, was captured at the battle of Neville's Cross and imprisoned for 11 years. On Joanna's death in 1362 David married Margaret Logie, but divo
