James Danforth Quayle (born in 1947) was born into a rich and influential Indianapolis newspaper-owning family, Quayle was admitted to the Indiana bar in 1974, and was elected to the House of Representatives in 1977 and to the Senate in 1981.
Short Biography:
When George Bush ran for president in 1988, he selected Quayle as his running mate, admiring his conservative views, and believing that Quayle could deliver the youth vote.
