Camil Petrescu was born on April 22, 1894 in Bucharest, Romania. He is a prose-writer, playwright, poet and essay writer.

Biography and Career :

In 1913 Camil Petrescu attended University in Bucharest, Philosophy and Letters. Between 1916-1918 he takes part, as a soldier, at a few important military compaigns in the First World War.

The experienced he knew during that period gives him the theme of the novel: "Ultima Noapte de Dragoste, Intaia Noapte de Razboi" (1930). He also writes read more...
